I'm getting pretty bad at this!

So I'm getting pretty bad at this whole lets have a daily blog. haha Life just gets so hectic that it slips my minds most days. So lets catch you up on my life.


My mom has been moved from Barns Jewish hospital in St. Louis, to The Missouri Rehabilitation center in Mt.Vernon. Which makes it a lot easier to go see her, but I can only go see her about once a week, due to not having a car. Nathan takes the car to work during the week. The doctor has said that because she's been down for so long that her muscles have basically deteriorated and that is why she can not feel or move her feet very well. She was doing therapy 4 times a day. But then last week she got some type of infection and is now in icu up there. She wants to just give up because she's tired of being alone and tired of hurting. But I tell her to not give up, that she has too much to live for. I know it can be hard to be alone, but if my siblings were so damn selfish she would have people up there with her, but that's another story. 


The doctor did also tell Nathan and I when we were up there that he didn't want people who visited to stay very long because she doesn't focus on the things she needs to be focused on. Like eating, breathing, and she get really anxious when she visits with people too long. I know my mom and I know that she'll come out of this. I mean it's been like this for years now. She'll get really sick, then she'll be up and going again.




So a while back there was this argument over this stupid thing between my sister in law and myself and we haven't talked for about a month or two. Then there was tension and rudeness from Nathan's family when we moved out. His dad actually asked him one day on the way home from work. "Does Tina just hate us that much"? Seriously!! I didn't know it was a crime to want to move out and have our own lives, I'm sorry! Well with that being said, Nathan and I decided together that we weren't going to go to their Thanksgiving dinner that we were just going to have our own at our house. Well Nathan caved and we went. I was nice to everyone, though I didn't talk to Rhema. We didn't stay long because Nathan said he didnt' want to just sit there talking, and I had two sessions I still had to edit. So we ate, hung around for about 15-20 minutes, then left. Well that night my oh so wonderful sister in law decided to post on facebook something to the effect, "being mean and hateful never wins, it just shows you still have growing up to do." Well I didn't think anything of it and then I saw that Nathan's brother "liked" the status so I figured it must have been about me. So I deleted all of his family members.


Well then the next week Nathan and I were going over to his parents house so we could get my pictures off their computer and when Nathan went in to get them his and my profiles had been deleted off the computer. So he took that as all of our stuff was deleted. Which of course sent me into tears I mean that was at least $1,000 worth of client pictures some of which didn't even get to order their prints yet! So Nathan asked his mom who deleted them and she said his brother who is the only one home during the day. So I text him and said "Thanks for erasing all of my stuff off the computer that was about $1000 worth of pictures several of clients who haven't even ordered their prints yet won't get to order them now. So thanks a bunch!" And of course he denied it. So then Nathan called his mom and they got it all sorted out. Our profiles had been deleted but our stuff was saved. She said no one in the house claimed to have done it, but I'm not dumb the computer just didn't decide to do that itself! So anyways Nathans brother wrote on his facebook wall and said  "You can tell that damn stupid bitch she can apologize!" Which of course mad me even more mad. Then Nathan's mom text him and was like I think Tina owes Michael an apology for her text. Which I said UH HELL NO, he can apologize first! 


So basically the outcome of this was Nathan showed his mom what Micheal had wrote on his facebook wall and she "didn't know what to do". So I've said that until Michael and Rhema can apologize I will not be attending their family functions. Because I will not be treated like shit then be expected to brush it under the rug and go on like life is all peachy! I'm not like his family and never will be. They don't have to be apart of our lives and Nathan said if they keep it up, they won't be!






Other than that craziness we had 3 thanksgivings. 2 of those which were really awesome, and 1 was not, for me anyways. We had so much fun up in Kansas City with my size of the family. I really wish my mom and aunt Cathy would have gotten along and not have fought my whole life because my aunt Cathy really is a fun person to be around. And I bet if they just gave each other a chance,  they'd realize they liked each other. But I know that will never happen one because my mom is too damn stubborn and two they've never gotten along.


But anyways that's all I have for today, I'm meeting a wonderful friend for dinner tonight to hopefully get some much needed answers to a lot of problems I've been having and get back on the right track with everything. hmmmm

Well my weekend is going by, kinda fast, yet not fast enough I guess. I thought it was Sunday most of the day. LOL

Friday:: I worked then we went out to Bamboo which is my FAVORITE place!!!, Then we had a game night at home! It was super fun! Now I really want a Wii and all the dance games!! It's a great workout and I woke up Saturday feeling very good about myself!  LOL

Saturday:: Woke up, had a client come view their order. Which is a very new experience for me. It went very well, they loved their photos. =] Then Nathan and I went out and I did pictures of Jake and Hannah and Hannah took pictures for me of Nathan and I so I can make us Christmas cards. I'm very excited to start working on them! Then we came home, Hannah and I napped. (LOL), Nathan went to his parents to get another load of our stuff, and Jake played on his computer. Then Hannah started dinner and I started editing pictures. Then Hannah and I went to the store and bought all the groceries for the week. And then I was reminded that there really are still nice people in this crazy world! We had to go to 3 different stores tonight, and our last stop was walmart, so we get to the check out and my debit card wasn't reading. So I called Nathan and he said we only have $89 in the account, my total was $89.14! I was freaking out, and the girl at the register paid my $0.14. I didn't even ask her or hint in anyway. Totally made my night! Came home, and continued editing pictures. I got Kayla's session done, So that makes 2 down, 2 to go. Not counting my own pictures. That's pretty much my day, in a nut-shell!! Oh and there was an earthquake, and everyone, I  mean EVERYONE was talking about it on fb. No one at our house felt it. But anyways I pray tomorrow is a great day, and that the week is just as great! TTYL!!

Yeah...It's been a while....

Well it's definitely  been a while since I've written a post. So I guess I'll just fill you in on everything that's happened since the last one.

New news about my mom, the vent was no longer working as well as the doctors were wanting so did a tracheostomy, and so far she is doing a lot better. She's been waking up a lot and is scared cause she doesn't have anyone there. I wish I could be up there with her, but I can not afford to not work. Kayla is working now too, so she can't be up there. I'm not sure what Dilyan is doing, he was up there then came back I guess. Then moms car broke so he is car less. I got the number from my grandma and tried calling several times today but everytime I called she was asleep. She can't talk, but the nurse told my grandma it probably helps to hear familiar voices. I'm hoping tomorrow when I call, she'll be awake. 


Other new things, we FINALLY got moved to our new house! It's all starting to come together and look and feel like a home! I'm so excited about that part. Jake and Hannah ended up moving in with us, well there was always talk that Hannah would move in, but Jake ended up moving in and so far I LOVE IT! They are fun roomies! =] We just got internet today so I've been going crazy be so behind on my photography. I am four sessions behind, which makes me feel horrible because the worst part about getting pictures is having to wait for them to be done! LOL


Other than that, I'm still working at the Y, still LOVE it! Still doing photography, hoping to start building a small studio in our basement and just really enjoying my life right now. I mean sure I have my days still, but hey they'll come and I'll get through them!


Well that's pretty much it for now. I'll try not to be gone so long next time!

P.S. I'm VERY excited for Thanksgiving, and getting to see my grandma and grandpa!! =]

I also forgot to put in here that I had the most amazing opportunity working with Extreme Home Makeover when they came to Joplin Mo! I'm from Carthage, but still feel extremely blessed that so many people came out to support Joplin, let alone the people from EHM! It is a memory I will NEVER forget!!
