The older I get

So it seems the older I get the more the years just seems to fly by! It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating Christmas last year. And it seems like this past weekend flew by in the blink of an eye!!

So we had a great weekend. Well let me rephrase that, speaking for myself I had an amazing weekend!! LOL

Friday we got to KC at 4pm. We were going to hang out with my cousin, but then decided to just hang out at the house together and rest up. So we watched Breaking Dawn part 1, ordered pizza and just hung out. Then we went to the store and got some cereal for the morning and milk. We got to sleep in the new bed grandma and grandpa got for our visits. I slept like a baby, it was much nicer than the air up mattress! =P

Saturday we woke up, got around and went to lunch. We were going to just go to eat together, then my aunt called and invited us to come to lunch with them. So we had a great lunch at our usual family spot Freddy T's! Then Nathan and I went and saw Breaking Dawn part 2! It was great, and really had me shocked for a while there! Those of you who've seen it will probably know why. Then we went back to the house and just relaxed for a hour or two. Then we went to this Mexican restaurant that was really awesome! Then we went bowling with everyone and I pretty much sucked at both games. I blame my full belly and tight pants! haha Then we went back to my aunts house and played Just Dance 3 with everyone and it was so much fun!! I really love that game!! We went home and both of us crashed! 

Sunday morning I did NOT want to get out of bed, but I did. Woke up, showered. Nathan went and got us some Chiefs shirts from Walmart. Because yes we are procrastinators! LOL Then we headed over to my aunt and uncles house. Got some coffee and loaded up in the Explorer. Tailgating was super fun and the game even though they lost was a really great experience that I hope to be able to do again sometime. I took lots of pictures that are on my Facebook. And we got a couple of pictures at the game before it started and I got some face paint with Carolyn.

After the game, we went back to grandma and grandpa's to finish packing up our stuff. Then got on the road home. We stopped at some friends in Neveda because our Diamonds Merritt and Beth were there for a dinner and teaching. I'm so glad we made it in time. Even though we missed out on shooting. LOL I was reminded this weekend of why we need this business and why I want and will make this work. I'm so very thankful for Karrie and Jared for showing it to us!
